Throughout the year there are regular visits to theatres, concerts and museums as well as other places of historical, geographical and scientific interest.

There are annual residential trips for older pupils. Year 4 have a weekend at Castlerigg in the Lake District, and Year 5 have an outward bound weekend - providing opportunities to do many exciting activities in a safe and controlled environment. Year 6 have a residential trip to York and they also have the opportunity to travel abroad on a skiing trip.
