A group of Year 6 children went to Claire House this morning to be presented with a certificate for raising over £20,000 towards their much needed funds.  The money has been raised from triathlon sponsorship, the refashion show and other charity events.

The children were shown around the hospice which was a very humbling experience.  Although it is a place for very sick children it is a very bright and happy place with cheerful and dedicated staff.  It just shows how all our charity events really do make a difference.  Claire House receives only a nominal amount of funding so relies very heavily on the donations that they receive.
