My Day at Anfield by James O'S

We went on a school trip to Anfield. At the door we were met by a man called Steve. First Steve took us to the seats where the important people and the press sit. He also showed us the Champions League cup, the players' dressing room and the seats where the players sit.

There was a special reason why we went on this trip. It was to see the flagpole which used to be a mast called 'Thursday' on a ship built by Isambard Kingdom Brunel. We went to have a look at it and had our photo taken.

Just before we had our lunch we had a look around the Liverpool Football Club museum to see all the trophies they had won.

Even though I am an Everton supporter I had a really good time.
